Shapes, Masks, and Mattes.

I used animated shapes on a path with the big star, then I used the repeater on it, making the trailing stars. I used the clone effect on the twinkling stars. Then I used animated masks on the moon and then wiped the moon so that it was chasing the fake pink star.
